Jonie Scruggs

For more than 20 years, Jonie Scruggs pastored students both domestically and on mission trips to many foreign countries. In 2003, God brought Jonie and his family back to his hometown of Waller, TX, where He began prompting him to plant a church. His life’s passion is to communicate God’s truth to a generation who desperately needs to know Him. He is a recognized speaker on God’s sovereign grace, relationships, and the challenges of life. While he has never met the Pope, the President of the United States, or the Queen of England, he will captivate your heart, illuminate the scripture, challenge your thinking, and motivate you to action. Jonie is married to PJ and they have two wonderful children: Talan, age 19 who is a drummer in Rahab The Monster and The Journey Church Worship Band; and KyLeigh, age 23 who is currently the Worship Leader at The Journey Church.
