A Place People Can Come to See Jesus

Sycamore Tree Church is on the move! In fact, in July 2017, we moved to Follansbee, WV. However, our congregation comes from all over. We have folks in worship from Weirton, Cadiz, Toronto, Richmond, Bloomingdale, and Tiltonsville, Ohio.

We offer Children's Church during the school year and small groups for every age and gender. You'll find Sycamore Tree Church a place to call home, a place to grow and to worship, a place to serve others and Christ, a place to climb up out of the crowd and, like Zaccheaus, see Jesus.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We call our services "interactive"! Pastor Steve likes to communicate with the congregation and meet them where they are. We have fun while we learn to be better disciples of Jesus Christ.

What is the community like?
We have folks from age 0 through age 95. We always have at least 8 kids in worship and many times have 20 or more. Our folks are very friendly, everyone who visits says they feel at home right away. We offer coffee, tea and donuts every Sunday to help us keep a friendly atmosphere. We feel as though we are family!

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you aren't a Christian, we will get really excited when you come to Sycamore Tree Church. It's not that we don't want Christians to visit, but truth is, we don't need to take people from other churches, there are plenty of people who aren't Christians who need the hope and joy and full life that a life with Jesus Christ can bring. We are known for not judging. We've all been where you are (and some of us are just barely past where you are). We promise to give you a chance and not look down on you, we hope you'll do the same for us!
