We exist to share the love of Jesus with everyone!

Strong Tower Church began 7 years ago with less than 20 people. In that short period of time we’ve grown to over 700 in regular attendance, seeing lives changed along the way. Pastor David Mitchell leads Strong Tower, which has upbeat music, relevant teaching, and a come as you are atmosphere.

Whether you're here for the first time, or have been here since day one, we promise you'll always be treated like part of the family.

What to Expect

What are services like?
You can expect a fun and energetic service full of contemporary worship music, relevant & honest bible based messages, and love shown from our amazing volunteers and leaders. Your children will find a home at KidStrong in one of our many classrooms while learning an age appropriate message! See you Sunday and Wednesday at Strong Tower Church.

What is the community like?
The community at Strong Tower is diverse in age and ethnicity. We love having all types of people visit us, from believers to those still seeking; Young in age, and in heart. Our vision is to see all to come to Christ, and that reflects in how our volunteers honestly and openly show you how much you are loved. When you visit here, you will feel like you just came home. We have no dress code, we just ask that you come as you are, because that is how God is seeking you, just as you are!

What if I'm not a Christian?
Excellent. You may not believe this but we were not born Christians, and Jesus was never a Christian! It is a choice we all must take to follow God's will in our lives. Being a Christian is a walk that you will take for the rest of your life, one that should not be taken lightly. We have volunteers and staff that will love to talk to you about making that choice, and how once taken... you're life will never be the same again.

Leadership

David Mitchell

Pastor David grew up in Westmoreland, TN where at age 17 he realized God's plan for him to become a youth pastor. At the age of 19, he became youth pastor at East End Church in Scottsville, KY. After being there 2 years, David felt called to Providence General Baptist in Bethpage, TN, where he grew a youth group of 12 kids, into over 140 teenagers in just 4 short years. In the Summer of 2005 David began feeling a nudge from God, to plant a church. A church that would be different from the others in the area. A church that would be willing to do anything to see lost people saved. A church were everyone was treated like family, no matter if they'd been there 10 years, or if this was their first time to visit. Where people wouldn't be judged upon their appearance, but would be accepted for who they are. Thus, on February 26th, 2006 Strong Tower Church held its first service with 87 people in attendance. In the 7 years since then, God has grown Strong Tower to over 700 in regular attendance. The dream that God placed on David's heart years ago, has become a reality. And, God is just getting started.
