    Antonio T. Dixon, Sr.

    Rev. Antonio T. Dixon, Sr. was born on October 8, 1980 in the city of Eldorado, AR and raised in Strong, AR by his grandparents Gussie and Sammie Greer. He is the son of Jackie Greer formerly of Grambling, LA. He attended high school at Strong High School and graduated 2nd in his class. He was also the captain of his high school basketball team and won several awards in athletics. After high school Pastor Dixon attended The University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. During his time there he became a member of The “Kaptivating” Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education in May of 2003. He then received his Masters in Physical Education in 2005. He is currently enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary where he is studying to receive his Masters of Divinity degree in Pastoral Leadership. In October of 2011, Pastor Dixon became the 2nd shepherd in the history of Steeple Chase Baptist Church. Before coming to Steeple, Pastor Dixon was a teacher at Elkins High School in Elkins, AR. He also served as the Assistant Head Basketball Coach for the varsity boy’s basketball team. He has also served as Senior Pastor of the Macedonia #2 Missionary Baptist Church. He has also served as the Assistant State Youth Director of the General Baptist State Convention of Michigan under the leadership of his uncle and mentor Dr. Samuel Greer, Jr. He is currently a member of Peaceful Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Dixon is married to the lovely Shameka N. Dixon. Together they have two children: Antonio Tremayne Dixon, Jr. (AJ) and Germani Addison Elyse Dixon.
