Gary Beson

Gary and seven others felt a call from the Lord to be part of this church plant, St. Timothy’s, in 2014 and were sent out by St. Paul’s, Summerville and as part of the Protestant Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina. Gary is married to Sue and they have three grown children. Gary graduated from Trinity School for Ministry and while there, he was on the Leadership team of Southside Anglican Church a church plant in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Gary enjoys taking the church “outside the walls” of the building and into the community. From the Tattoo Art Exhibit to the drive-thru Blessing of the Animals with squirt guns, he seeks to bring the truth of the Gospel into the world in ways that are unconventional and authentic. Our vision is for three or four small churches that would one day support a classic school for children from pre-school through 12th grade within the growing communities of Nexton, Carnes Crossing, Cane Bay, and nearby areas of Summerville, Goose Creek, and Moncks Corner.
