What to Expect

What are services like?
On Sundays, Divine Liturgy begins at 10 AM and lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes. There is no formal dress code for attending church services. However, Orthodox parishioners tend to be more formally dressed for services. In Orthodox services, children worship alongside their families. The church does not provide child care services except on special occasions such as adult classes and seminars. Learn about Orthodox style worship here: http://www.frederica.com/12-things

What is the community like?
Our vision is to provide facilities and other resources necessary to evangelize and grow a community of Orthodox Christian believers in Northern Colorado who are committed to spiritual formation, interpersonal relationships, mission, and outreach to our neighbors in service to the poor, the sick and suffering, and those in prison.

What if I'm not a Christian?
There are many things about Orthodox worship that may surprise and confuse you. We want you to know, we welcome all visitors and hope you will feel comfortable asking questions at an appropriate time! Visit our website at www.stspyridons.org for more information and resources.
