Our Services

What are services like?
Our worship style is traditionally strucutured, with down to earth sermons rooted in scripture and stories, weekly communion, involvement of children, youth, and adults, supported by 3 choirs. We have a nursery - but also welcome children to particpate and stay involved in worship. Coffee, tea and snacks after worship offer a time for connections. We laugh, sing, and eat well, while looking beyond ourselves and connecting faith to every day life.

What is the community like?
St. Michael's serves a wide area. Our people come from New Canaan, Wilton, Norwalk, Stamford, and Trumbull, CT; Bedford, Pound Ridge and South Salem, NY. Our people work throughout Fairleild Co and County, Wetchester County, Manhattan, and New Jersey. Being together gives us reason to celebrate and enjoy one another's firendships and gifts for ministry. We are pilgrims continuing to explore who we are and where God calls us to follow.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome to explore, ask questions and engage. We are Christian, Trinitarian, and rooted in the Lutheran theoolgical and liturgical tradition. The 21st century is where God has places us. You have questions. So do we. We invite you to come explore them with us and see what you think about this Jesus we follow.
