About Us

We are a liturgical church in the Episcopal tradition. We belong to a wider community, the Diocese of Central New York, in a broader world of the Episcopal Church, in the world-wide Anglican Communion.

Worship is the central act for our community, and we take it seriously, but still have fun in gathering to give thanks to God. We welcome your participation in the life of our church!

Everyone is welcome to share the Bread and Cup at our altar.

We gather for worship at 8:00 and 10:00 on Sundays.

We hope to serve God and the world, and have open doors for anyone who wishes the same.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Sunday services are marked by a four-fold dance, we gather the people, tell the stories, break the bread, and then scatter to serve God in the world. Our liturgy is based on the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, and is both ancient and modern. Our 10:00am Sunday service includes a celebration of the Eucharist and music led by our choir. The 8:00am service does not have music. The 10:00 service often features a "Kids Stuff" moment, where the children of the church gather to sing songs with our priest or to hear a mini-sermon from our puppet rector "Father Louxn". Our Sunday School program begins at 10:00 and the children and teachers join our service before the Eucharist begins. The church is accessible to all, and is air conditioned in the summer.

What is the community like?
A cross-generational congregation who are involved in meaningful work, play, study, and thought about being a Christian in this world. We are led by the Reverend Mark A. Giroux as rector, with the Very Reverend Dorothy Pierce as our deacon. Sunday services are at 8:00am and 10:am.
