St. Luke's Church

About Us

Mission and Ministry to the Community and the World

We are a small Episcopal congregation with a large footprint in our community. We serve individually and in community in a variety of ways that bear witness to the Gospel.

Our worship is traditional Book of Common Prayer worship and Sunday services are at 8 and 10 am on Sundays. On Wednesday Morning at 7 am there is a contemplative Eucharist followed by a light breakfast in the parish hall.

What to Expect

What are services like?
The 8 am service is a said Eucharist without music. The first and third Sundays of the month are Rite I. The 10 am service is a family friendly service with music from the 1982 Hymnal and a selection of more contemporary songs & hymnody. This service is always Rite II BCP. The Wednesday morning 7 am service is BCP Rite II with one of the remembrances from Holy Women, Holy Men or the Saint of the day. That service is followed by a small, informal, light breakfast and fellowship.

What is the community like?
We are a fairly diverse congregation. We have folks of all ages and from across the political and theological perspective gathering to worship and follow Jesus. We are mostly 'middle class' folks who find strength, fellowship and encouragement in our common life of ministry, formation and worship.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian and find the teachings and person of Jesus an attractive person, you are most welcome to meet with the Rector (Pastor) and discuss your spiritual life and faith journey.
