St John St Matthew Emanuel Lutheran
About Us
A welcoming church in Park Slope
St. John - St. Matthew-Emanuel Lutheran Church is a diverse, inclusive expression of three worshiping communities - St. Matthew (1859), St. John's (1866) and Emanuel (1884) - who have joined to serve the Park Slope/South Slope neighborhood with God's Word and Sacrament. As a Reconciling-in-Christ congregation, we affirm LGBT persons, and welcome all to full participation in the life of this church, just as Christ has welcomed us.
"St. JME" is a family church. Sunday School for ages 2.5 - adult meets September - May. Children are encouraged to participate in worship.
