I don't love this church. If you visit long enough you'll endure the following things. Their current priest has a wife who gossips and whispers about people behind their backs. I experience this. No wonder I didn't like the priest. You will endure verbal abuse sometimes physical abuse. People will get in your face and get away with it because they will lie and bare false witness. In fact you will have many people lying and falsely testifying against you all in the name of protecting the community. You will notice a lot of self righteousness. This community cares nothing about any improvements to the city nor it's people. They only care for themselves and other members of their wretched archdiocese. They ought to not be tax exempt. When you notice an unfair and rather unjust aristocracy within the church leadership and call it out expect to be excluded and shunned. They will find whatever way to be rid of you, because they only want to tear down your soul for seeing though their bs.
The OCA is a terrible archdiocese to experience Orthodoxy. Many OCA priest are not trained properly and commune heretics regularly. The bishops don't do anything about it too. You can find examples of this all over the internet. There's also a video explaining how Archbishop Alexander Golitzin views a heretic as a good church teacher. I recommend either ROCOR churches or the Antiochian church in Jacksonville TX. Never set foot in an OCA church. They're horrible and I'm not alone in that assessment.
