St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church
About Us
St. Dunstan’s is a parish of the Episcopal Church, one of the daughter churches of the Anglican Communion. As Anglicans, we come from a tradition that is both catholic and reformed. That means that our roots are in the ancient church, but we also have the flexibility to correct our course when needed. The foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ, and we base our decisions on Holy Scripture, the traditional teaching of the Church, and the reason with which God has blessed us. As Anglicans, we view creation, including humankind, as essentially good, although flawed. This “glass-half-full” attitude allows us to live a joyful life, fully engaged in the world, working, through Christ, to help move the world from where it is to where God means for it to be. One of the chief goals of the Church is to help those among us and around us to be reconciled to God and one another through Christ, and to encourage them to grow into the persons that God created them to be.
