St Barnabas is unique because it has no sermon, instead the parishioners discuss thoughts and impressions on the readings. Talking about the readings gives everyone a chance to see a variety of perspectives on the same piece rather than one pastor's interpretation.

What are services like?
Services include a welcoming discussion of the readings and the gospel each week. People are encouraged to speak their mind, even if they disagree with certain aspects of the discussion.

What is the community like?
Our church community is friendly and supportive. Each week there are coffee and snacks after the worship. We host a brunch on the last Sunday of every month following the service. We would love to have you!

What if I'm not a Christian?
Feel free to come and see what you think. Our parish is non-judgemental and welcomes all. We would be happy to have you join even if you're not a Christian.
