I am so amazed at the daily mass attendees. Some with significant disabilities. It took a while to develop an ability to read the short version of the daily readings but am now familiar with the proceedings and enjoy the mass whenever I can attend. I am 84 years old, a cancer survivor and wear an osteo bag which sometimes makes it difficult to attend but do so when possible. My present wife is very ill and doctors have told us there is no cure. My first wife passed away in 1984 at the age of 44 from complications with breast cancer. I feel welcomed at the Friary. Thank you. Especially, Father Eagen.
