What to Expect

What are services like?
MUSIC God is praised and worshipped through both instrumental and vocal music. “O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD. Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation”. Psalm 95:1 SERMON Through a detailed study of a portion of the Bible, we seek to better understand God’s character, plan and purpose. Bibles are available in each pew for those who may not have one with them. “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness”. 2 Timothy 3:16 PRAYER It is our privilege to bring praise, thanksgiving, confession and requests to God in times of prayer. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”. Philippians 4:6

What is the community like?
Our purpose in worship services and all activities to bring glory to God and to study His Word. This is accomplished through the various parts of the services, events, classes and activities.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone, from all walks of life is welcomed. SWN will not discriminate, judge or unwelcome any visitor. You will fit in whether you are dressed up or prefer a more casual look. You will see a wide range of styles at our services and always feel welcomed.

Leadership

Jim Abrams
Lead Pastor

Pastor Jim Abrams joined our staff as Lead Pastor in November 2020. He studied religion and Christian ministry at Eastern Nazarene College and Nazarene Theological Seminary. Raised in southern New Hampshire, Pastor Jim is a native New Englander who loves the outdoors, a good book, and a thoughtful conversation. He and his wife Becky have a wonderful marriage of 26 years. Together they have two pretty stellar children, Grace and Micah.
