Dennis Wells

As founding and senior pastor of New Life Community Church, Pastor Dennis Wells is known for his relevant teaching style and his passion for equipping leaders to fulfill the Great Commission. Dennis and his wife Annette have four children and live in Bakersfield, California, where New Life Community Church began in March 2012. Dennis and Annette are passionate about providing a life-giving church focused on the simplicity of the Gospel and the power of an intimate relationship with a loving God. Dennis’ leadership skills are changing the way church is done. Under his leadership, New Life Community Church offers two worship services at one location one in English and one in Spanish Iglesia De Jesucristo. http://www.idjrefugioapostolico.webs.com/ under the leadership of Pastor Arturo Aguilar Sr each weekend. Pastor Wells has a deep passion for developing leaders and seeking to plant life-giving churches. As a pastor-theologian, his desire is to return to the biblical theology and priorities that God Himself designed to cultivate spiritual health and holiness in the lives of both individual believers and the local church.As a preacher, his mission is to carefully, patiently, and accurately deliver an informed exposition of God’s Word, in which the sermon seamlessly transitions from an exacting study of the intended meaning of the text to the practical application of its contemporary significance in terms that people can both understand and apply to their lives. Pastor Wells has a Bachelor of Theology Christian Life School of Theology and a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry and Leadership from Fresno Pacific University.
