It's all about Jesus...and you!

Saron Lutheran is a congregation with a rich past dating back to 1892. As the generations came and went God's love was constant and His power always at work to save lives. Because of God's overpowering love we at Saron are passionate about sharing that with each other and the community. It's who we are!

We are a blend of tradition and innovation. We have two Sunday morning worship services: one with a more traditional feel (8:45) and the other more "contemporary" (10:30). Sunday School takes place for children during the 10:30 service, although children are always encouraged to attend worship with their family!
In the summer we worship as one, Sundays at 9:00 a.m., alternating between traditional and contemporary.

What to Expect

What are services like?
We strive for worship that is participatory and interactive. Those in attendance have the opportunity to just sit and soak it in or get involved!

What is the community like?
Big Lake is primarily a "bedroom" community, meaning most people commute away from Big Lake to work. In the 2010 census the largest segment of the population of 10, 000+ are young parents and the second largest is their children. Big Lake's population exploded between 1998 and 2008. For shopping, etc., if you can't find it in Big Lake you will be able to in nearby Monticello or Elk River. Major shopping areas and entertainment are a quick trip to Maple Grove, St. Cloud or the Twin Cities proper.

You are invited! Attend. Ask questions afterward or later by phone or E-mail. All of us began with no understanding and lots of questions and continue to grow into this relationship with God and all God has for us in Jesus Christ.
