Our mission statement may make us seem like we aren't your grandmother's church! Yet we do have a few grandmothers who worship here. We resist stereotypes and can't easily be put in a box--nor will we try to put you in a box.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship services follow the liturgical calendar and are ordered with hymns and songs, scripture readings and sermon, prayers and communion on the first Sunday of the month. Our theology is postmodern and progressive while our worship style is somewhat traditional. Our Pastor generally preaches following the Revised Common Lectionary.

What is the community like?
Friendly! (Really, we are.) We're a small community that is diverse in many aspects such as age, background, ethnicity, sexual orientation, family structure, social class.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome! You don't have to be a Christian nor will you be pressured into adopting certain beliefs or dogmas. Questioning is o.k. No force-fed answers here!
