About Us

Jesus didn't reject people. Neither do we.

St. Paul is a small but very diverse neighborhood church located in the Merion Village community, just two blocks south of historic German Village in Columbus, OH. Our members are as unique and beautiful as the neighborhood we reside in. As a congregation and as members of God’s family we come from many different generations and many different walks of life. Yet, we celebrate that variety by the oneness of our faith in God, united in spirit, and always seeking to extend the love of Jesus Christ to all we meet.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Services at St. Paul are held in a traditional church sanctuary and follow a traditional liturgy but, beyond that, we're anything but "traditional". Our congregation is multi-generational, mixed race and mixed sexual orientation. Participation in services as greeters, ushers, liturgists and other speakers spans all generations and is not at all exclusive of anyone due to sexual orientation.

What is the community like?
St. Paul is a family. Expect to be greeted warmly at the door, to meet new people during the passing of the peace who have a genuine interest in making you feel welcome and expect to be invited to join us after the service for some fellowship time in the fellowship hall and maybe even get a tour of the food pantry we proudly house at St Paul and help to manage as one of several member churches.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
