Saint Joseph in Greenwich Village
About Us
The Church of St. Joseph in Greenwich Village & our Catholic Center on Washington Square serve New York University, Cooper Union, New School, Pace University and the Greenwich Village communities in New York City. Greenwich Village Catholics have made St. Joseph's their spiritual home for more than 175 years. United by sacramental worship in the tradition of our chosen Roman Catholic Faith, we share in the mission of the Church. Affirming the equality of all people and celebrating the diversity among us, we acknowledge our pastoral obligations. We commit ourselves to: fostering spiritual growth, furthering our sense of human community, embracing sisters and brothers in loving outreach and service, and sharing our gifts as faithful stewards. We believe this worship and service will hasten the coming of the kingdom of God in our own hearts, within our communities and for the world. - See more at: http://washingtonsquarecatholic.org/index.cfm?load=page&page=2#sthash.aZGlw97t.dpuf
