By the grace of God, we hold faithfully to the Word of God, believing it to be true and unchanging. We treasure the good traditions of the past, but are flexible in many areas as we strive to bring God's Word into the lives of people. We would love to have you be a part of our Christian family so we can serve your needs, and together serve our Lord and one another.

What to Expect

What are services like?
The services are focused upon the Word of God and the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion. Our Lord gives these gifts to us in order to bring into our lives the blessings Christ Jesus has earned for us. The Divine Services are unique in our day an age, for they incorporate traditional practice, creativity, and praise music .

What is the community like?
The people are caring and take a genuine interest in one another, as well as our community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
In John 14:6, Jesus said: "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." God loves all people and wants all people to be saved. However, we cannot save ourselves (Ephesians 2:8-10). There is only one way to heaven and that is through faith in Christ Jesus as our Savior. At Rose of Sharon, we would like to help you grow in your faith and life in Christ Jesus.
