• Brian Eatock

Pastor Brian was born and raised in a small town located in Central Illinois on October 20, 1970. Growing up in farm country, within a small community meant summers were filled with working in various fields for the local farmers and school days were spent learning with a graduating class of 22 fellow students. Church, frankly, was a social engagement, a place you went to see your friends on Sunday before returning to school the next day. Pastor Brian met his wife, Carole, while working as a Respiratory Therapist in Peoria, IL. Carole and her mother, Rose, were the ones responsible for leading Brian to the Lord. They have two VERY active sons, Isaiah and Ian, two cats and two dogs. Answering the call to ministry came as a hard decision. Did God use imperfect people? In an e-mail from a cousin, God answered and clarified all of Pastor Brian’s questions when he read, “God does not call the qualified, but qualifies the called.” Pastor Brian’s first pastoral assignment was in Cuba, IL and he served there for 2 ½ years before moving to Rockford, IL. Pastor Brian and his family have been at Samuelson Road Church of the Nazarene since January 2008.
