River's Edge Church

Welcome to River's Edge Church, Jesus said "it is to my father's glory that you bear much fruit." He desires us to be fruitful in our everyday lives. To make a difference outside the walls of the church, to change lives and impact a world around us with His love. To be a church that really cares, really loves, and a church where people... they really matter. He calls His followers to a mission, He sends us, sends us all. As a church of followers we are to be equipping, and deploying disciples of Christ to live on the edge of a river of life, healing, and sustenance. Encountering a culture that is absent of God with the truths of His word and leading them to a life in Christ.

"You shall not go out with haste for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard."
- Isaiah 52:12

It is clearer than ever before, that God's call for us is to love God, love people, and create disciples. A common question is, once we are saved and have been given the Gospel now what? Our desire is to see every believer reach their full potential in Christ and understand their calling. God has placed a dream inside every believer's heart that is yearning to be released, and we intend to push the envelope, for us to reach beyond what we have now into the fulfillment of that dream. Finally, follow the example Jesus left us, we are to create disciples, and commit ourselves to them!

We are to take them from conversion and help them to become the reflection of Christ, a dedicated, committed, powerful, and a fruitful follower. These followers in time will be able to repeat this same process with others. This process brings them to a fullness of a life of salvation with the resurrected power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. As we move forward we must assist the disciple to yield every area of their life to God, sold out and surrendered. This is the "New Normal." Then we help them move into a daily lifestyle, a lifestyle of a true follower, a lifestyle of pursuing His presence daily.
