About Us

Bible-centered, God-glorifying, Christ-exalting - member of the OPC denom.

At Providence you'll meet young and old, new believers as well as veterans in the faith. We're a smaller group but big in our love for others and for our Redeemer and Lord.

Our worship is reverent and joyful, directed by the Bible and saturated with the Scriptures. The preaching and teaching seek to explain and apply the whole of the Bible to all of life.

In response to God's purposes for the church, we strive to be faithful in worship, in teaching the Scriptures, in nurturing God's people through elder-oversight and one-another ministry, and in reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not know and belong to Him.

We are an OPC "home missions work" supervised by the session of Little Farms Chapel OPC in Coopersville, MI.

Our meetings currently take place in the conference room of the Dial-A-Ride building at 180 Memorial Drive in Manistee.

We look forward to your visit with us!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship is both reverent and joyful, a celebration of God and His great works on behalf of His people. In worship, God's people get to meet with their Creator-Redeemer to hear Him speak through His Word, the Bible. This is an awesome privilege that calls forth our heart-felt praise! The sermons are God-centered (since the Scriptures are God-centered), direct us to Christ, and are practical, explaining how to live for Christ.

What is the community like?
Being members of one another as members of Christ's body, we seek to love one each other deeply and live in close-knit community, like a healthy, human family would. Christ calls us to serve and care for one another's spiritual and physical needs; we seek to be faithful to that calling.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Not being a Christian would be all the more reason for you to participate with us, as here you will find a welcoming atmosphere where you can ask honest questions. You would also be joining a group of fellow seekers who are serious about learning and understanding what God has revealed about Himself, and what His will for our lives is, through the study of the Bible.
