My aunt took us to this church in the late 70's n early 80's. We were forced to go sometimes. We normally attended the Suffolk Church otN in Suffolk but I couldn't find it online. Our family turned out to be very dysfunctional. My aunt was a closet alcoholic. I felt like she was a hypocrite all those years. She died from alcohol n diabetes. I had no love for her. My three biological siblings died recently, two from addiction n one from covid. I am the last of our family. My dad killed our mom n went to prison then our aunts divided us but we reunited in 1974. We left VA for NM n currently reside there. My siblings n I hated the church n never went back once we turned 18. My uncle's family used to b missionaries on our reservation, that's how he met my aunt. My siblings n I never felt loved by them. They had four kids of their own who they favored n still do. Anyway, as for myself I hate religion so I see myself as spiritual. I have no identity being native American n raised in the White world. Anyway, maybe u all pray for us? The Hassall/Martinez family. Btw, all the Hassall family children drink heavily. My brother n I are the only ones who are clean. TY for ur time.
