What to Expect

What are services like?
At Plymouth Creek Christian Church we place a high value on hospitality and welcoming all worshipers. We worship in a relaxed atmosphere in services which tend to be more traditional than contemporary. Our small sanctuary offers a feeling of intimacy, and the worship experience is enhanced by our handmade banners and paraments. Creativity in worship is also valued, and volunteer members of the congregation share the worship leadership with the minister. Services at Plymouth Creek are centered on the sharing of communion every week. In our tradition, all who believe in Christ are welcome at the communion table.

What is the community like?
We are a small congregation so it doesn't take long to get to know one another. There are several small groups/dinner groups that meet outside of church. Some focus on social events, some on service, and some a combination. We are always happy to have visitors and strive to make everyone feel welcome whether just visiting or looking for a church home.

What if I'm not a Christian?
As Disciples of Christ, we believe that each person has his/her own faith journey. All are welcome to come and share in worship with us. Please be aware, however, that we are a Christian church and you will find that our worship is Christ-centered including weekly communion (of which one may choose to partake or not).
