  • I love the blending of the old hymns in a fresh new way. The music is a blending of new and old music. The worship songs concentrate upon Bible texts and scriptural principles. I have been to churches where the songs are not teaching what the Bible says! I feel grounded and in the presence of God when I worship at PBC. I also enjoy a Body Life service when people can take an open roving mike and tell what God is doing in their lives or ask for prayer. That service happens infrequently, but when it does, I am always blessed by it. Finally, I am spoiled by the expository teaching where the pastor compares the words in the Bible to the Greek or Hebrew text and explains the meaning of the passage in context of the chapter and the whole teaching of scripture. I especially like when one of the 4 pastors who rotate teaching give applications to apply the passage to everyday life.
