About Us
Peace Ev. Lutheran Church exists to bring the gospel of the incarnate Son of God - Jesus Christ crucified and risen - to all who will hear, so the Holy Spirit may bring them the peace found only through the forgiveness Jesus won for us.
Peace is a member of the WELS, a church body known for its unwavering hold to the historic evangelical catholic faith, recovered and proclaimed in the Lutheran Reformation. God's Word doesn't change, so our teachings don't change. Since our teachings are not rules taught by men, but the timeless life-giving good news of Jesus, this ancient message proves itself vital for every generation.
Peace is the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) congregation that serve the greater Philadelphia area.

PeteWe've been members at Peace now for 24 years. Before that, we were members in sister congregations in Arizona, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Hawaii, and California. It is spiritually refreshing to know that at all places, the Word of God is taught in purity and balance. The message of Christ crucified, risen and ascended, is in every lesson, every sermon, every hymn. And that joy is shown in the hearts, voices and attitudes of the congregation.

JohnThis is a great place to worship! They adhere to the teachings of scripture without adding or taking away from the holy text. The pastor and members of the congregation are very warm and welcoming and their Sunday School and Vacation Bible School is among the best. This is the place where confessional Lutheran's can be assured that their teachings are firmly planted in God's word.
