Pasadena Mennonite Church

About Us

Peace and Justice Oriented, Love God and Love People

We are followers of Jesus who aim to imitate Jesus in how we think, act and speak. We are a congregation that truly knows one another. There are tons of ways that we help, celebrate and support one another. We are focused on praying for peace, advocating for peace and living out peaceful lives. We seek social justice in our community and around the world, through non-profits, prayer and activism. We are passionate about caring for the environment. We have a pastoral care team ready to mourn with, pray with, listen to and care for people. We are committed to children and youth. We are a church that empowers our congregants (thus we are lay led) and multiple people preach, lead worship, sing, play instruments, teach Sunday school etc each week. Come join us this Sunday at 10 AM.

Our Services

Sunday
10:00am
Service starts at 10:00 with programmed worship at 10:30

What to Expect

What are services like?
Come as you are. Most people are in jeans or shorts. But, wear a dress or a tie if you like. People dress all different ways, but mostly casual. The services are about an hour to an hour and a half. Communion is on the first Sunday of every month. Services include: peace candle lighting, music, refections on Scripture and prayer and sharing.

What is the community like?
Very friendly. Very open and honest. We ask deep questions. We want to know one another and we do this through prayer and sharing time in services and through a listserv that we email each week to one another through. We also have a snack time for catching up each week after the service and community groups-one that watches movies, another that hikes etc.

What if I'm not a Christian?
This is a place where you are welcome to the communion table no matter what. And this is a picture of our community. You are welcome here to learn, to ask questions, to be loved and to participate.
