Our Services

Service Times

Sunday
  • 11:00am - silent meeting for worship

What to Expect

What are services like?
We have an hour of silent worship, listening for the spirit. Attenders occasionally share messages with the congregation. Once a month we have meeting for worship with attention to business, during which time attenders communally make decisions for the meeting.

What is the community like?
We are extremely small. Over half of the members and attenders are connected with Ole Miss, as students, staff, or teachers.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Quakers do not have a creed to which members must subscribe. We respect each person's individual conscience and individual spiritual search but try to achieve unity in the ways we work with one another and with the broader community.

Leadership

Pam Coe

We do not have a pastor. Pam Coe is the clerk, responsible for making sure that meeting events occur as scheduled and that Quaker process is observed. All members and attenders have pastoral responsibilities equally.
