Pastor, I am the father of Mary Ann Vaupel. I hope you remember me. We all attended church about Thanksgiving time.
My concern is that they don't seem to be interested in attending church. My family, 3 kids and wife were faithful in our attendance. Dave, her husband even served as an Elder for a short time. Everyone is baptized and confirmed LCMS. Mary Ann has a severe hearing impairment. She has two cochlear implants. That's been her reason for not attending church. In conversation with her, one needs to be facing her so she can see lips moving. Oldest son is Kristopher, Jarrod is youngest. He has been living with me but is there until first of the year.
