Gregory H. Schmidt

Rev. Gregory Schmidt became Pastor of Our Savior Church in July of 2002. Pastor Schmidt was born on August 13, 1971 in Cottonwood, Minnesota. He was christened Gregory Harstad Schmidt on September 19th of that same year. He attended public schools all the way through high school. In 1992, he graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota. For his junior year in college, he attended the Institute for German Studies in Bemidji, Minnesota. In 1994, Pastor Schmidt received his B.A. in German from Concordia Moorhead University in Moorhead, Minnesota. His seminary training began in 1998. He attended Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary in Mankato, Minnesota. For his year-long vicarage, he was assigned to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida. After graduating from the seminary in 2002, he received and accepted his first call to be the Pastor of Our Savior in Naples, Florida. Rev. Schmidt was married to Julia Tweit on July 22, 2000. Since then, they have been blessed with five beautiful children.
