Our Services

What are services like?
Our Sunday morning service is designed to create community among the multi-generational congregation that attends. We sing contemporary praise songs led by a praise band. We also sing Hymns accompanied with piano and organ. We have a traditional Friends open worship time most Sundays. It starts with a moment of silent prayer and stillness, based on Psam 37:7 "Be still and know that I am God". Open worship ends with an opportunity for the congregation to share with each other what God has been doing in their lives. To end the service Pastor Adam delivers a Bible based sermon.

What is the community like?
We are very close. We are not a very big group but do have opportunities to connect with one another throughout the week and on Sunday morning. It is very important that we encourage one another in our walk with the Lord and that can only happen through good relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome! We understand that our faith grows over time, so whether you are exploring your faith for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, we would be happy to have you join us for a worship service.

Adam Kemper

Adam Kemper

Adam Kemper was born and raised in Kansas. His family attended the Evangelical Friends Church in Wichita. He felt called to be a pastor in his senior year of college and attended Azusa Pacific University's Haggard graduate school of Theology, earning a Master of Divinity. He came to Tucson with his wife in the fall of 2010. He has a desire to see Christians draw closer to the Lord and exhibit the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22). He also wants to walk with those who have never had a relationship with God and help them discover the Lord in a real way (Matthew 28:19-20).
