Ken McKinney

Ken McKinney is is the founding pastor and church planter behind New Community. He is a native of Northern California and long-time resident of San Francisco. Married to Leah, a native of North Carolina's Outer Banks, they have three young children and live in San Francisco's Sunset district. </a> In addition to leading New Community, Ken continues to work in non-profit management and marketing for Compassion International, a global child advocacy organization working to release children from poverty in nearly 30 developing countries through one-to-one child development in partnership with the local church. Ken studied Biology at Carleton College in Northfield, MN and received his ministry and ordination through Hope International University's Londen Institute in Corona, CA.
