Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in San Luis Obispo, Calif., is located just a few blocks from California Polytechnic State University. We are a branch of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a community of faith that is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ.

Our mission at Mt. Carmel: "As Christians committed to the belief that we are saved by grace through faith, the congregation of Mt. Carmel exists to GATHER in worship and fellowship, to GROW in the knowledge and love of Christ, and to GO in service to a world in need."
