Doug McMunn

Reverend Doug McMunn joined the staff as senior pastor in July 2011. He is a 1986 Master of Divinity graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He grew up on a farm near Adrian, MI, one mile from the Ohio border and was active, with his parents and three brothers, in the Ogden United Methodist Church. Doug has been married to Reverend Marianne Mugler McMunn since 1984. They raised their three children in Michigan as Doug served churches in Plymouth, Iron Mountain/Quinnesec (2-point charge), Pinckney (founding a new congregation), and Oxford. Doug's life and ministry are centered in scripture, beginning with "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and soul, and strength, and mind; and love your neighbor as you love yourself" (Luke 10:27). Doug celebrates the partnership of laity and clergy serving together, spreading God's love in the world, offering the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ."
