  • The reason I love the Metro Hope Community is because it is truly diverse and takes the full Gospel seriously-salvation, discipleship and social justice. Metro Hope has started a intentional community and garden in East Harlem to ensure that we are truly apart of the East Harlem community, many of the members live, work and/or study in Harlem. Additionally Metro Hope has a great children's ministry called Hope Kidz which serves children in the community even if the children's parents do not attend the church. Metro Hope has held 2 annual Hope for Haiti events with participation from CNN, the U.N., the Episcopal Church and others.Held in the historic National Black Theater Metro Hope respectfully pays homage to the rich religious tradition of Harlem while adding a multicultural flare for a new generation.
