What people say about Madrid United Methodist Church

• this is where I grew up. It was always a good and fun place to have not just the gatherings of staid members of the church, but to bring in others and celebrate the sharing of friends and family's throughout the area. I remember all the pot luck dinners and the fellowship that always followed each and every meal. My one remembrance is of the two lilac bushes on either side of the main stairway entrance. What a tremendous smell they both provided as you would climb the step to the big double doors. My memory has almost faded from view, but those will always be with me.
