Scott Rains

Scott Rains grew up on a farm outside New Providence, Iowa and graduated from Eldora-New Providence High School. After earning a Communication degree from Central College in Pella, IA Scott began work as a Youth Pastor in Des Moines. Scott married Wendy in '97 and moved to Portland, OR where Scott earned his Master of Divinity from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. While in seminary Scott joined the staff of an ELCA church plant, Community of Christ Church. From 2001-2006 Scott was the pastor of Buffalo Friends Church near Davenport. Scott and Wendy have six children, Dalton, Hadley, Kiley, Kemble, Shayden and Saphron.
