About Us

Serving God, Loving People Changing Lives

Living Waters is an exciting young church in Oak Grove, Kentucky. We are a local church with a global view.

At Living Waters, we believe the church is not a building but the Body of Christ, lived out not only as we gather to worship and study, but as we depart to live our lives.

We have a strong desire to be genuine in our faith. There are too many people who "play church" but are really only a part of a local congregation for what they can get out of it.

We want to dispel the myth that our faith has no relevance in the real world today. We believe that it is the only authentic truth in the marketplace of ideas. Not only is it relevant, but desperately needed in a world that seems to be out of control.

If you are ready to seek that kind of faith, then I challenge you to join us for worship. But be warned, we set our expectations high at Living Waters. We gather each week expecting God to show up and He has never failed us yet.

Are you curious enough to take the plunge into the Living Waters, then join us this Sunday at 10:30 am.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Visiting a church service can be an unsettling experience. Whether you’re coming back to church or you’re trying it out for the first time, we know this is a big step for you. Our prayer is that, after your visit, you will begin to rethink your perspective on God and the Church. The following is a survival guide to visiting Living Waters Community Church: -- Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 am. -- We have coffee and light snacks available starting at 10:00. Come a few minutes early to make sure you get a good seat. -- When you walk in the foyer, you will most likely be greeted by one of our members who will hand you a visitor card. Please take a few minutes to complete that card and then drop it in the offering basket during the service. -- The nursery and children's classrooms are to your left and down the hall. All our children's workers and nursery are trained and certified, to include a background check. You can rest assured that your child will receive the very best of care while you are here. Ages for the nursery are 6 mos. up to 3 years old. -- We have a class for children 3-5 years old during the worship service as well. -- Adults, teenagers and children age 6 and up gather in the worship center for the morning service. The atmosphere is casual. We dress comfortably. We use music, video, and other creative elements to communicate truth in a contemporary way. People of all ages seem to enjoy our services. --We receive an offering as a part of our worship activities. As our guest, you are not expected to contribute. The only things we ask you to place in the offering basket are the completed visitor card and any prayer requests you have written on the prayer request card found in your program.

What is the community like?
Living Waters is located in a small community in Kentucky that is actually a suburb of Clarksville, Tennessee. Because we are the Kentucky town that borders Ft. Campbell, Kentucky we have lots of military families. With that being said, our focus is not exclusively on the military. We have many families who attend who have no military affiliation. We want everyone to feel welcomed and accepted.

What if I'm not a Christian?
One of our goals at Living Waters is to make everyone feel comfortable. Those who are seeking God can find acceptance at Living Waters. We understand that exploring the things of God can sometimes be a little unsettling. We strive to make everyone feel at home.
