• Tim MacGowan

Hello! I’m Tim MacGowan and I’ve been called to start Living Hope, an Evangelical Presbyterian Church. I came to know the reality of Jesus Christ in my life during my teen years. I continued to grow in my relationship with Him through both successes and mistakes. One of the primary places for learning lessons of love and forgiveness is in my own family. My wife, Nancy, and children, Laura (19), Patrick, (17) and Benjamin (10), are each living reminders that God gifts are far better than anything we deserve. I’m one of those relatively rare native Northern Virginians. Both Nancy and I grew up and went to high school in the Northern Virginia area. After graduating from William and Mary and a lengthy stint in sales, I followed a call into ordained ministry. We spent almost eight years of satisfying work as youth pastors and worship leaders in an Episcopal church in Central Florida. I then attended King’s Seminary in Southern California. From that school and under the ministry of Jack Hayford, I received a Masters of Divinity in 2002. We joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Church at that time and were commissioned to start a church in the Haymarket/Gainesville area. Email me at [email protected].
