    FALSELY-NAMED "HUMAN LIFE PROTECTION ACT" H3774 PASSES SC HOUSE SUBCOMMITTEE - JANUARY 26

    - Bans 97% of Surgical and RU486 "Abortions" (has multiple exceptions); does not establish personhood, therefore does not provide full equal protection, therefore does not establish justice.

    - Does NOT protect ANY human life from conception/fertilization (only protects from point of "clinically diagnosable pregnancy" due to detectable presence of hCG - which normally comes AFTER IMPLANTATION).

    - Codifies funding of selected surgical/RU486 "abortions" in SC State Health Plan.

    - Expands availability of birth control which can cause chemical "abortions" through SC PEBA, and by REQUIRING "all individual and group health insurance and HMO policies to cover" contraceptives/abortifacients.

    - Promotes fornication among youth by requiring SC PEBA to cover contraceptives/abortifacients for dependents.

    - Prohibits "abortion"-funding for Planned Parenthood.

    - Repeals Sec 44-41-20 in SC Code which codifies Roe v Wade framework; Roe framework has been maintained in SC Code since 1974, and preserved by 25+ years of incremental "abortion" regulation legislation, including the Heartbeat Law blocked by SC Supreme Court.

    - REDEFINES SCIENCE, FALSELY CLAIMING in Section 38-71-146: "A contraceptive may prevent ovulation, fertilization, or implantation in the uterus."

    THIS EXPOSES THE FALSE CLAIM THAT H3774 PROTECTS HUMAN LIFE FROM CONCEPTION. IT ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT.

    IMPLANTATION IN THE UTERUS OCCURS 6 TO 10 DAYS AFTER CONCEPTION/FERTILIZATION.

    H3774 would ban 97% of surgical and RU486 "abortions" in SC, and thus would likely shut down such "abortions" at the Planned Parenthood murder mills in Columbia and Charleston, and would likely stop nearly all such "abortions" at the Greenville murder mill.

    However, surgical and RU486 "abortions" only account for an estimated 10-20% of total "abortions". The other 80-90% is from abortifacient birth control, TO WHICH THIS BILL H3774 EXPANDS AVAILABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY, EVEN TO DEPENDENTS (YOUTH) THROUGH SC PEBA !
