What are services like?
The worship service is built around the Bible, which is the word of God. We begin with a time of silence to help focus our hearts and cultivate a spirit of reverence, and we ask that you honor this goal throughout the service. During the service there will be prayers based on the Bible; songs from the Psalter, which is a translation from the book of Psalms in the Bible; readings from the Bible; and a sermon of about 30 minutes, which explains and applies a passage in the Bible. All these are things you may participate in with the congregation if you wish.

What is the community like?
Our small church ranges in age from less than 1 to over 90! Some come alone, others come in groups or as a family. Once we arrive for the worship service, we are one big family! Small children are welcome in the service. In our current meeting location at the library we are unable to offer a nursery, but there is space for you to take your children out of the worship service if you feel it is necessary. (Some of our member families with young kids do this regularly.) The worship service typically lasts about an hour. After the service we generally remain to fellowship together for quite some time.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Going to church, especially if you have not been before (or haven't been for a long time), can sound uncomfortable. You might wonder, "Will they make me sing?" or, "Will I have to introduce myself to everyone?" or other things. (By the way, the answer to both of those questions is, "No!") We believe that you are not merely a visitor, but our guest, and nothing we do is designed to single you out or make you uncomfortable. On the contrary, we hope that you will feel welcomed, not only by us, but by the Lord Jesus Christ himself!
