Lafayette Community Church is a community of faith committed to helping people at any point on their spiritual journey discover full life in Christ.

Jeff and Jen Mikels moved to Lafayette, Indiana in 2006 to launch a church that would reach people far from God and disconnected from His family. Since then Lafayette Community Church has devoted itself to helping those same people discover the life they were designed to live!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our music is vibrant, our services are casual, and our pastor is straightforward. Simple messages take the text of the Bible and explain it in simple language to make it practical and relevant to modern day life. We believe the Bible has the keys to living life the way God designed us to live it, and we present the Bible with the clarity and sincerity it deserves.

What is the community like?
We are a mix of graduate students, young families, and mature couples who are committed to being a family together.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You'll be more than welcome. We'll sing songs that feel like songs you've heard on the radio, but the words will be on the screen so if you don't know them, you'll at least know what we're singing about. We'll hear a message from our pastor on a practical topic from the Bible, and we'll ask you to fill out an information card if you want to. There's no pressure to do anything you don't want to do, and you can feel free to wear jeans or whatever else you feel comfortable in.
