Kingswell Missional Communities

About Us

This is a discipleship community. The dream is to multiply like-kind communities throughout our geographical area. These communities vary in shape and form, thriving in the nooks and crannies of our society like grass in cracks of sidewalk.

Description
This experiment is just that, an experiment - there’s nothing formal you need to do, no membership, and no church antics you need to perform. The only requirement you need is to be a group of followers of no more than 50 people (since we don’t like mega-churches), subscribe to Kingwell’s statement of faith, and be seeking ways to self-improve the four values mentioned below in your context.

In addition to this, Kingswell anticipates training your leaders on how to become a missional community within your context, and thereby facilitate a network of loosely connected communities within southwestern Ohio, even perhaps meeting corporately once a quarter for worship, building relationships, leadership accountability, and co-operative learning.

Again, this is an experiment to see if a missional network can coexist in a learning environment that wishes to produce missional-minded people.

On September 6, 2012 we decided to begin our “experiment” as a discipleship community, first. This will be our first attempt to become accountable to one another over a six-month period, learning and developing each of our passions and accumulating some skills along the way to become disciple-makers for the grand MISSION. After our six-month period, it is our hope this community will extend into our individual contexts (i.e., existing ministries or new projects), thereby producing discipleship communities of like kind and morphing into missional communities.
