What to Expect

What are services like?
Services include singing, preaching, and prayer. Our music is a mix of timeless hymns and more modern spiritual songs. The preaching is from the Bible, expository, and meant to both encourage change and give comfort in life's trials. Guests are welcome to participate as little or much as they would like in the service: they are not publicly introduced or asked to speak, pray, etc. in the service.

What is the community like?
Kerman Baptist Church is a smaller church, so the community is a lot like a family. We all know each other and consider each other friends, we support one another through hard times, and rejoice with one another in good times.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome anyone to attend our services and learn about God and the Bible. If you are not a Christian, we'd also be glad to meet you in person and answer any questions you may have about Christianity, the reliability of the Bible, or religion in general. We know that everyone has different belief backgrounds and we invite you to visit, even if you aren't a Christian or don't believe the same things we do.
