John Wiley

John is a gifted speaker who is strong in exhortation. He has a relaxed yet passionate speaking style. John is the founding Pastor of River Christian Fellowship and founding Executive Director of River of Refuge. In 1981 He accepted Christ while in a military prison at the age of 19. In 2010 John shared the story of how came to give his life to Jesus during an interview on CBN's 700 Club Interactive . The interview can be viewed below. He is an ordained Foursquare Pastor. He is the current Divisional Superintendent for the Kansas City Metro Foursquare Division. In 2001 he and his family started River Christian Fellowship with 15 teenagers. To learn more details about how the River came to be click here. Seven years later the River's attendance grew to about 275 people. Today the River has over 350 people between its 2 campuses. The River has a Raytown campus, an Inner City campus and a community swimming pool and park. John and Mary Jo have been married since 1982. They have three children and two grandchildren. Mary Jo stayed home for 20 years raising their 3 children. In 2009 she completed her studies and today is Dr. Mary Jo. She practices chiropractic care at Revma Health Center in Raytown, MO.
