Intermountain Baptist Church

About Us

Being a Community in Christ; Reaching our Community for Christ

At Intermountain, all are free to express honest doubts and ask questions. At Intermountain, you will learn how to enter into a right relationship with the God who made you. At Intermountain, you will find a family. We're not perfect, but we'll introduce you to the One who is. We're not the "one true church," but we'll introduce you to the One True Savior. His name is Jesus.

What to Expect

What are services like?
All styles of dress are welcome at Intermountain. Some wear coat and tie. Others wear blue jeans. Our service includes a blend of contemporary music with some traditional hymns. We primarily preach through books of the Bible. In 2013 we will be reading and preaching through the entire Bible. We hope you'll join us!

What is the community like?
We are a growing multi-generational congregation with members from both "blue-collar" and "white-collar" backgrounds. Our Sunday attendance presently averages around 110. We share a common faith in Christ and a desire to grow deeper in our relationship with Him and to serve Him. We're not perfect, but we're striving to become the church family God calls us to be. We hope you'll join us in our quest!

What if I'm not a Christian?
Intermountain is a place you can come and learn about Christ at your own pace. We teach the Bible clearly and will take the time to answer your questions. Since following Jesus is a personal decision, we will not pressure you. Several times each year we offer a Sunday morning class called "Basic Christianity." This class is specifically designed to be a safe place to ask questions and explore the Christian faith. We're here for you.
