Immanuel Lutheran Church
About Us
vibrant traditional worship, hands-on social ministry
Immanuel is located in downtown Evanston, a small city/suburb just north of Chicago, six blocks south of the Northwestern University campus, and adjacent to commuter trains and across the street from a Best Western Hotel. The congregation was founded by Swedish immigrants but is now a broader reflection of American society. The congregation is known for its robust singing, supported by an amazing music program for a small church. A high percentage of members are involved in hands-on social ministry projects that address global and local needs.
