    Eddly B. Benoit
    Pastor

Eddly B. Benoit was born in the Pearl of the Antilles, the beautiful island of Haiti. He immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 13, and for the better part of his teenage and young adult years, Queens & Long Island, NY has been his home. Because of his ministry he is well traveled, and has been to many places in the U.S., Africa, Canada, Cuba, and Haiti sharing the Gospel. He is an alumnus of Greater New York Academy (1990) and Queens College (1995) where he obtained a BA in Accounting & Information Systems Management with a Minor in Economics. He later received a Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University Law School (2004) in Boston, Massachusetts. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Associations. Although he was convinced that God had placed a special call upon his life, he took a rather unconventional route to pastoral ministry. In 2009, he answered the call by walking away from a prosperous law career, enrolled at the Andrews University Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He joined the Greater New York Conference in 2012 and is currently the proud pastor of the Huntington and Antioch Seventh-day Adventist Church district in Long Island NY. Pastor Benoit is married to the love of his life, the former Marie A. Graham. Dr. Marie Benoit is a Family Nurse Practitioner and adjunct faculty at Molloy College. Dr. Benoit has a passion for youth and young adult ministries and works alongside her husband as his ministry partner. Because of their exemplary leadership and service, Pastor Eddly & Dr. Marie Benoit have both been honored with Special Congressional and humanitarian service Awards, from the United States House of Representatives and from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, for their work with urban youth in the city of Boston. Understanding that the minister’s call is one of service, Pastor Benoit prays that at the end of his ministry here on earth, he will be remembered for having been a faithful “foot washer” for Jesus Christ. A text penned by the wise man Salomon summarizes well his philosophy of ministry, and it’s found in Proverbs 21:31 “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the LORD."
